Software Engineering builds the brains of Waymo's fully autonomous driving technology. Our software allows the Waymo Driver to perceive the world around it, make the right decision for every situation, and deliver people safely to their destinations. We think deeply and solve complex technical challenges in areas like robotics, perception, decision-making and deep learning, while collaborating with hardware and systems engineers. In this Software Engineering role, you’ll:

Implement and scale the software that drives Waymo’s commercialization efforts - infrastructure that manages fleets of vehicles and powers Waymo’s core ride hailing product offering.
Develop expertise in and make use of various Google technologies, like Borg, Spanner, and Scaffolding

At a minimum we’d like you to have:

BS degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience
5+ years of industry experience
Ability to work outside standard hours, including beyond 5 pm CET, required due to close collaboration with US-based engineering teams
Location: This position will be seated at the Google Warsaw office

Experience with C++ (or a willingness to learn)
