In this role, you'll:
- Develop, implement, and administer innovative compensation programs that attract, motivate, and retain the worlds’ best talent
- Provide strategic compensation expertise and analysis to executive leadership, talent acquisition, HR business partners, and management
- Collaborate cross-functionally to develop and deliver interconnected people programs & policies, year-end planning cycles, and other talent strategies
- Build and maintain efficient tools and processes, such as compensation planning tools, deep dives, benchmarking, and new hire offer workflows
- Manage a high performing compensation team at varying levels
- Liaise with Alphabet compensation and Waymo board regarding compensation governance and program approvals
At a minimum, we'd like you to have:
- BA/BS degree or equivalent practical experience
- 10+ years of experience leading compensation programs within the technology sector
- Demonstrated success in managing teams of high-performing individuals
- Experience in fast growing companies
- High level of discretion in dealing with confidential and sensitive information
- Subject matter expertise related to pre-IPO equity compensation programs
- Detail-oriented and committed to a high degree of accuracy
It’s preferred if you have:
- Comfort with analyzing data and creating meaningful, understandable models, reports and metrics using expert analytical skills
- Experience in pre-IPO companies and work with executive leadership and board of directors
- High attention to detail and ability to prioritize and work well in an environment with competing demands
- Comfortable rolling up your sleeves to get things done in tandem with participating in deeply complex strategy discussions
- Demonstrated ability to influence stakeholders and leadership with executive presence and strong communication skills
