You will report to the Head of Marketing. This is a hybrid role based in Mountain View or San Francisco, CA.

You'll lead:

  • Paid Media Strategy: Lead media effectiveness and measurement, media mix optimization, and campaign budgeting. Guide investments
  • Performance Metrics: Measure campaign performance, new user acquisition costs, and customer lifetime value; refine and improve marketing strategies accordingly
  • CRM and Lifecycle Marketing: Develop a customer segmentation strategy that maximizes engagement, retention, reactivation, and satisfaction, ensuring content and promotions support the customer through each journey stage. Guide data-based experimentation
  • Technology Integration: Collaborate with Eng, Product, and Data Science teams to implement digital, CRM and marketing automation tools. Stay up-to-date with MarTech trends
  • Team Leadership: Manage a team of four experienced marketers, promoting a culture of innovation, collaboration, and excellence

At a minimum, we'd like you to have:

  • 12+ years of marketing experience in new user growth, engagement, and retention
  • Experience developing growth strategies within unit economic frameworks and establishing multi-year priorities
  • Prior focus on B2C, app-based brands
  • Expertise in customer segmentation, omnichannel strategies, and marketing automation
  • A vision for CRM strategy including tracking, marketing tech stack, and tooling

It's preferred if you have:

  • Previous experience with rewards, offers, promotions and loyalty programs
  • At home working with Product, Engineering and Data Science teams
  • Appreciation for technical products and able to distill complexity down to consumer stories

The expected base salary range for this full-time position across US locations is listed below. Actual starting pay will be based on job-related factors, including exact work location, experience, relevant training and education, and skill level. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for the role location or, if the role can be performed remote, the specific salary range for your preferred location, during the hiring process. 

Waymo employees are also eligible to participate in Waymo’s discretionary annual bonus program, equity incentive plan, and generous Company benefits program, subject to eligibility requirements.
