Nick Webb

Nick Webb is the Vice President of Systems Engineering at Waymo, an autonomous driving technology company with a mission to be the world’s most trusted driver.

In this role, Nick leads the Systems Engineering and Systems Test Engineering organizations, overseeing full-stack requirements and verification to ensure the safety and integrity of the autonomous fleet. He also chairs Waymo’s Safety Steering Committee, which defines and executes the evaluation frameworks that determine the Waymo Driver’s readiness across operating scopes and scale.

With more than two decades of experience shipping complex, integrated hardware and software products, Nick previously held engineering leadership roles at Apple and Nest.

He holds bachelor’s and master’s degrees in Mechanical Engineering from Stanford University.
