Waymo is excited to bring San Diego riders the same safe, reliable, and magical autonomous ride-hailing service that carries hundreds of thousands of people already in five cities across the U.S., with plans to begin serving the city next year.

Earlier this year, we visited America’s Finest City and found that the Waymo Driver is easily adapting here. Now, as we work to expand our deployment permits, we’re partnering with local teams, training first responders, and deepening community relationships so we can best serve the community and its visitors when we open our doors.
