Waymo arrived in Tokyo this April and has been adapting our technology and operations for Japan’s capital as we expand to major cities across the U.S. and globally. As we continue our work in Japan, we were delighted to welcome Japan’s Transport Minister Nakano and other officials to experience a fully autonomous ride in San Francisco and tour our operations center.

Waymo（ウェイモ）は、米国および世界各国の主要都市への展開とともに、今年4月から東京の公道に合わせた自動運転技術と運営体制の最適化を進めています。日本での取り組みを続ける中、この度、中野洋昌国土交通大臣をはじめとする政府関係者の皆さまをお迎えし、サンフランシスコでWaymoの完全自動運転車のご乗車いただくとともに、オペレーションセンターをご視察いただきました。
