Waymo was honored to welcome a delegation from South Korea’s Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport (MOLIT), led by Minister Kim Yun-duk, to our San Francisco operations. During the visit, the MOLIT delegation experienced fully autonomous rides with our 5th-generation Waymo vehicles —which provide hundreds of thousands of weekly trips across the U.S. every week. As Waymo continues to scale our service globally, hosting representatives from the Ministry provided a valuable opportunity to demonstrate how our technology is improving road safety and transforming urban mobility.
